Introducing you all to my first baby, my guardian angel with four legs- Kichu.

She’s been with us for the past 10 years and we couldn’t be any happier about it. We often hear that a dog completes our life and I cannot agree more to it. She has made our life better just by being in it. From being a tiny fur ball, who could hardly stand on its paws we’ve seen her grow to big baby who could chase me through the whole house. My family is incomplete with her.
I believe bringing her home was one of the best decisions taken by mom and dad. She makes our everyday life happening. She has so much love to give us. Her cute puppy eyes melts our hearts everytime we look into them. She is the best listener. She understands our emotions better than us. She knows when we are sad and happy. There have been times when I’ve cried watching series at midnight and there she comes out of no where to sit beside me and console me. But realising how cute she is, I would end up crying even more. She always has a paw to offer when I am in need. Hide and seek is our favourite game and she always wins in finding my hidden place. The best part of the game is watching her run in and around the house looking for me with full enthusiasm.

She loves going out for drives. She would sit on my lap and look out of the window watching the trees pass by with curiosity in her eyes. Having said that, she is my best travel partner. She’s been with us from the south to the north of India, in flights, cars and auto rickshaws. She makes everyone turn their heads to have a another catch of her cuteness.
But there is always a wild side to an innocent face. She demands pampering, be it after a shower or an outing or even after a nap and she is pretty adamant about it. She is an attention seeker. Whenever we are having a family talk, she has to sit right in the middle of the group. She loves chocolates and cakes, thought it is said that dogs shouldn’t be given any of these sweets, it’s merely hard to say NO to her.
Coming home to the love and cuddles and licks are a blessing. Very patiently she would wait for us to get back home to attack us with all her love, even if it’s been only 30 min. She has the most loyal and unconditional love.I was someone who was scared of dogs, but because of her I am now known among my friends for my love for dogs.

They come into our lives for a short period, but make those times the best for us. And as someone has very well said, For us, they are a part of our lives, but for them, we are their whole life.
